The undersigned, constituting a duly authorized Fee Arbitration Panel of the Fee Arbitration Commission of the Board of Overseers of the Bar, having been designated to hear the controversy existing between the above-named parties in accordance with the provisions of the Petitioner's Petition to which the Respondent did not reply, and after a hearing before the Panel on January 20, 2015, in Portland, Maine, at which the Respondent did not appear, and after considering the exhibits submitted by the Petitioner and the affirming testimony of the Petitioner, the Panel finds as follows:
Petitioner's claim for a refund of $1,500.00 fees is granted.
It is therefore ORDERED that Respondent shall pay Petitioner $1,500.00 forthwith.
The Award and Determination is in full settlement of all claims submitted to this Arbitration Panel.
