A duly authorized Panel of the Fee Arbitration Commission of the Board of Overseers of the Bar, chaired by the undersigned, convened on October 6, 2017 to hear the above-referenced fee petition. Only the Respondent, Attorney Strike, appeared. On at least one prior occasion, the Petitioner indicated to the Board Clerk that she no longer wished to pursue her petition. On more than one prior occasion, the Petitioner either did not appear for a scheduled hearing or sought to have proceedings continued. Prior to the most recent hearing, the Board Clerk attempted to contact the Petitioner several times and left several messages for her in order to inquire about whether she planned to attend the hearing and pursue her petition, but she did not respond.
Based on the Petitioner's failure to respond to the Board Clerk and/or appear for scheduled hearings and based on the information provided to the Panel by Attorney Strike at the most recent hearing, it is hereby ORDERED that the Petition is DISMISSED with prejudice.
